Make an Easy Toilet Paper Roll Toy Rocket
Empty TP rolls can be turned into all sorts of crafts, from kaleidoscopes to rocket ships! With a little bit of time, glue, and colored paper, you’ll have a rocket ship you can be proud of. If you add some string to the cone, you can even hang it from a hook on the ceiling, or turn it into a party hat, like Nolan. His birthday is at the end of this month and he cannot stop talking about it!
Make a Kazoo Out of a Toilet Paper Roll
This old-school humming instrument is so easy to make. Hands-down, this was Nolan’s favorite activity. Tip: larger poked holes make for a more successful kazoo!
Cardboard Tube Sculptures
Turning trash into treasure is so much fun. I love the idea of showing Nolan that anything can be art, and I also love not spending money to make art! Free art experiences are amazing. Using empty toilet paper rolls to create a recycled sculpture is fun and easy.
