Santa joined us in the studio for photos, coloring, and crafts. He visits us armed with a wealth of knowledge about the North Pole (of course), and his trademark holly jolly spirit! I just love working with Santa. Santa Minis morning is always the most festive and fun morning of my year. I love sharing a bit of holiday cheer with friends, new clients, and past clients.
Nolan absolutely adored Santa last year. This year, in contrast, Nolan took a long time to warm up to the “big man in red”. Once he felt more comfortable, he was happy to color and do crafts with Santa, but a photo on Santa’s lap was a no-go. Not every child loves Santa every year, and that’s okay! Capturing genuine interaction is part of making memories and serves as a way to document this time in each child’s life. Tell me, are you in the classic “crying on Santa’s lap” phase, or does your child sit in awe of Santa’s magic?!
On the other hand, one of Nolan’s buddies was our biggest ham of the day! What is your experience? Is 2.5 a tough time to hang out with Santa? What is your favorite age for Santa photos?
